Professional’s Summarising Statement

Sports are a part of life which contribute greatly to the betterment of society, the creation of relationships, and the globalisation of our world. Despite these numerous positives which sport produces, the industry is still plagued with issues like corruption. Corruption negatively affects the integrity of sports; however, this integrity can be recovered if efforts are made to do so. This idea was clearly seen in many of the case studies which I talked about during today’s meeting, but was best shown through the FIFA and IOC examples. While the IOC showed the sporting world how to respectfully and morally react to corruption within an organisation, FIFA’s lack of public inclusion showed their disinterest in restoring the organisation’s integrity. I sincerely hope this forum has helped all of you answer the queries you had regarding corruption in sports, and if not, feel free to contact my e-mail. Thank you.
